90 Points - Wine Enthusiast - Great acidity and minerality in this elegant young wine. Doesn’t show the rich concentration of De Loach’s single-vineyard Chards, but then again, it costs far less. It’s actually a good value for a try, minerally and complex Russian River Chardonnay. Don’t drink it too cold.
 

Enticing red berry fruit aromas blend with rhubarb and cola. Delicate notes of anise and baking spices lace the fruit to unfold a rich palate of black cherries supported by medium fine-grain tannins. The finish lingers with attractive subtle toasty undertones, fine acid, and excellent balance.

DeLoach Vineyards' 2006 Russian River Valley Merlot has a true varietal voice with aromas of blackberry fruit leather, dusky black cherry and cedar box. Immediate flavors of sarsaparilla and cassis are framed by a kiss of oak developing into sophisticated layers of baker's chocolate and black truffles.
 

Sourced from several sites in the heat of the Russian River Valley, the grapes are vinified in our traditional style; vineyard lots were fermented separately to highlight the distinctive characteristics and unique flavor profiles famous to this region.

The Deloach Vineyards Late Harvest Gerwurztraminer is made only in years when botryits (also known as "noble rot") allows the grapes to develop exceptionally rich fruit aromas and flavors, ensuring the luscious honeyed sweetness and balanced acidity of this truly decadent Gerwurztraminer.
